Boydens Estate Agents are proud to celebrate an incredible milestone as Natalie Dean marks 25 years working with the company at its Colchester office.

Natalie, who is now the Sales Manager at Boydens’ Crouch Street branch in Colchester, first joined the business after responding to a newspaper advertisement for a weekend viewings assistant. Her natural ability to connect with clients and deep understanding of the property market quickly saw her move into a full-time role, beginning what would become a remarkable career in the Colchester property industry.

Today, Natalie is one of the most experienced estate agents in Colchester and has spent more than two decades helping local homeowners buy and sell property across Essex. For the past 13 years she has led the sales team at the Boydens Crouch Street office, playing a key role in helping hundreds of buyers and sellers successfully move home.

A Career Built Around the Colchester Property Market

Natalie’s journey in property actually began overseas, having previously lived in Tenerife where she worked in the property industry before returning to the UK and joining Boydens.

Since then, she has become a well-known figure in the Colchester housing market, helping generations of local families move home. In many cases, Natalie is now assisting the children of clients she first worked with years ago, highlighting the long-term relationships and trust she has built throughout her career.

Speaking about her time with Boydens, Natalie reflected on the values that have kept her with the company for so many years.

"I’ve always liked the ethos and values of Boydens, a third-generation family business," she said.

"My own family has a fourth-generation carpentry business in the North of England, so I know how much work goes into creating and sustaining a company that stands the test of time."

Natalie has worked closely over the years with Boydens chairman David Boyden and managing director Philip Boyden, helping the business continue to evolve while maintaining the traditional service values it was built on.

Helping Colchester Buyers and Sellers for 25 Years

Over the past 25 years Natalie has handled hundreds of successful property transactions across Colchester, Lexden, Prettygate, Stanway, and surrounding Essex villages.

One of her standout memories was selling one of Colchester’s most expensive homes at the time on Lexden Road, a property called Silver Birches. The sale famously coincided with a horse called Silver Birch winning the Grand National in 2007, a moment the Boydens team still remembers fondly.

Throughout her career Natalie has become known for her honest advice, strong negotiation skills and deep local knowledge, helping Boydens maintain its reputation as one of the most trusted estate agents in Colchester.
