Boydens Celebrates Success at the Colchester Business Awards
Boydens is proud to have achieved second place at this year’s Colchester Business Awards, finishing ahead of all other estate and property agencies nominated in the category and just behind overall winner Hays Travel.
The awards brought together businesses from across Colchester to recognise the people, organisations and teams making a positive contribution to the local economy and community.
For Boydens, the result was a fantastic reflection of the hard work taking place across the business and the commitment of our team to delivering exceptional service to clients throughout Colchester and the wider Essex and Suffolk region.
Managing Director Philip Boyden said:
“We were absolutely delighted to finish second. To be recognised alongside so many excellent local businesses, and to finish ahead of every other estate agency nominated, is something the whole team should be very proud of.
“It was also a brilliant evening and a great opportunity to celebrate the businesses and people doing so much across Colchester. A huge thank you has to go to everyone at Boydens whose hard work made this possible.”
The recognition comes during an exciting period for Boydens, as the third-generation family business continues to invest in its people, technology and services while remaining firmly rooted in the communities it serves.
From its headquarters at Aston House in Crouch Street, Boydens provides residential sales and lettings, leasehold and estate management, land and new homes, commercial and professional property services across Essex and Suffolk.
Built on service and trust
Boydens’ history in Colchester stretches back generations, with the property business founded by Desmond Boyden in 1966 and today led by his grandson, Philip Boyden.
While the business continues to grow and evolve, its focus remains the same: providing exceptional service, trusted local advice and a modern approach to property while remaining proudly independent and family-owned.
